How do I purchase pictures with Santa and Pick-a-Prize raffle tickets? After you select which breakfast experience you want, you are brought to a page where you add on these items. You may also purchase these at the door.
Can I get a refund? No, all sales are final. However, you may resell or gift your tickets to friends or family.
Can I bring my stroller into the building? No, strollers are not permitted in the building because of the number of people attending the event and limited space, but there is convenient stroller parking right outside the main doors.
Is this a rain or shine event? Yes. Everything is indoors, so come on in and enjoy a warm breakfast & hot coffee and bid on the auction items.
Can I come only for pictures with Santa? Yes. Purchase tickets for pictures with Santa at the ticket table at the front of the school building.
Can I come only to bid on auction items and buy raffle tickets? Yes. Please go to the ticket table at the front of the school to register for a bid number. You may also purchase raffle tickets for the “Pick-a-Prize” room at this same location.
What if I have food allergies? Unfortunately, because of the nature of this event, we cannot guarantee that there is not cross-contamination for those who are gluten free or allergic to nuts. There are gluten-free options such as the egg & cheese omelette, sausage, hash browns, yogurt, etc., but be aware that pancakes are the main course and therefore we cannot guarantee 100% gluten free. The same is true for nut allergies.
Is there a coat check? Yes, there is self-serve coat check near the front doors.
How do I participate in the auction? There are two auction rooms down the hall, straight ahead as you enter the building. This is a “silent auction” event, no online bidding. Simply choose the items for which you would like to bid, list your bid price and bid number (assigned at check in) on the bid sheet. Be mindful of the bid increments listed on the page for each item or bundled item; for example, some items go up each bid by $5, $10, $25, etc depending on the overall value of the item.
How do I participate in the pick-a-prize raffle? Purchase raffle tickets either online when you purchase your breakfast tickets or buy additional tickets at the ticket table at the front of the building. Be sure to write your bid number (given to you at check in) on each raffle ticket. In the pick-a-prize room, you’ll find a jar next to each prize. Simply put tickets into each jar corresponding to the item that you’d like to have a chance to win!
How long is the auction and pick-a-prize raffle? The auction and pick-a-prize rooms open at 8:00 am and close at staggered times from 10:20-10:40 am. No bids will be accepted outside of these times.
What time can auction items be retrieved? Auction items may be picked up between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm at the ticket table at the front of the building. Check in with the volunteer staff and they will retrieve your items for you.
How do I know if I won an auction or pick-a-prize raffle item? Winners will be posted at the school at 11:30am. Please check the list available at the ticket table in the front of the school. Winners are posted by bidding number.
How do I pay for my auction items? You may pay by cash, check, or credit.
What is the best way to get to Breakfast with Santa? The Town of Middleburg closes the main street and several side streets due to the events happening around town all day. If you are headed west on rt. 50, turn RIGHT onto Jay Street at the Exxon Station; turn LEFT onto Marshall Street and follow for a few blocks until you see MCCS on your RIGHT. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Be mindful that, especially if the weather is nice, traffic in to town will begin to develop early in the day as visitors come to town to get ready for the parade.
How much does it cost to park? Guests attending the event and arriving before 10:30 am pay only $15 per car to park in our lot all day (on a first-come, first-served basis), though there are no in-and-out privileges. After 10:30 am, OR IF YOU ARE NOT ATTENDING THIS EVENT, the fee is $40 per car to park. Our location is ideal for watching the horses and hounds, and we are about one block from main street to view the Middleburg Parade. No shuttle buses necessary! Cash is preferred, but we also accept credit cards.
